About

About Dodger Stadium

Dodger Stadium has been home to the Los Angeles Dodgers since April 10, 1962, which makes it one of the oldest ballparks still in use in Major League Baseball. It sits in Chavez Ravine at 1000 Vin Scully Avenue, just north of downtown Los Angeles, and is often described as the largest baseball stadium in the world by seat capacity, with about 56,000 seats. The playing field became UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium in March 2026 under a naming deal, while the stadium keeps its classic name. The park has hosted the World Series 12 times, including 2024 and 2025, plus the 1980 and 2022 All-Star Games and World Baseball Classic championship rounds. Concerts are part of its history too, from Elton John's two sold-out shows in 1975 to the Three Tenors in 1994. Terraced parking lots let many fans park close to their seating level, and baseball is scheduled here for the 2028 Olympic Games.

Also known as: UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium, Chavez Ravine.
