UTM Link Builder for Campaign Tracking: Tag your links so Google Analytics shows exactly which ad, email, post or QR code sent each visitor. Build clean UTM links in seconds, keep a searchable library and download a QR code. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser. How to use it: 1) paste your page URL, tap a preset such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Email or WhatsApp, and add a campaign name; 2) check the link, the warnings and the QR code, then copy it or open it to test; 3) save it to your library, search past links, and import or export them as CSV. UTM parameters are short tags added to the end of a link. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 read them to report where each visit came from.
How the UTM link builder works
UTM parameters are short tags added to the end of a link. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 read them to report where each visit came from. The builder adds the tags, keeps any parameters already in your URL, moves them before a #section anchor and encodes everything safely. It runs in your browser and works offline.
The parameters
utm_source: the site or sender, such as google, facebook or newsletter. Required.utm_medium: the channel type, such as cpc, paid_social, email or social.utm_campaign: the promotion name.utm_id,utm_termandutm_content: optional campaign ID, keyword and ad or link version.
Clean, consistent data
Analytics treats Facebook and facebook as two different sources, so the builder can make values lowercase and replace spaces with underscores, hyphens, plus signs or %20. Placeholders such as {keyword} for Google Ads ValueTrack or {{campaign.name}} for Meta stay unencoded so the ad platforms can fill them in. The tool warns about missing tags, capital letters, very long links and mediums that GA4 does not map to a default channel.
Library, CSV and QR codes
Save links with a name, search them, copy or edit them later, and export or import them as CSV. A paste box turns an existing tagged link back into editable fields. Every link also gets a QR code as PNG or SVG for flyers and packaging.
Limitations
UTM tags only work if your analytics is installed on the landing page and redirects keep the query string. Do not use UTM tags on internal links within your own site, as they restart the session.

What is a UTM link?
A UTM link is a normal web address with tracking tags added after a question mark, such as utm_source=facebook and utm_medium=paid_social. When someone clicks it, Google Analytics records those values, so you can see which campaign, ad, email or post brought the visitor and what they did next.
Which UTM parameters are required?
utm_source is required for analytics to use the tags. You should also always set utm_medium and utm_campaign so visits land in the right channel and campaign reports. utm_term, utm_content and utm_id are optional and are mainly used to tell keywords, ads or link versions apart.
Should UTM tags be lowercase?
Yes. UTM values are case sensitive, so Facebook, facebook and FACEBOOK appear as three different sources in your reports. Keep everything lowercase and use underscores or hyphens instead of spaces. The builder does this for you by default and warns you when a value contains capital letters.
Can I use UTM links with Google Ads and Meta Ads?
Yes. The presets add Google Ads ValueTrack placeholders such as {keyword} and Meta dynamic parameters such as {{campaign.name}}, which the platforms replace with real values when the ad is clicked. For Google Ads, keep auto-tagging switched on as well, since it adds extra data to Google Analytics.
