Quick answer

QR Code Generator: Create static QR codes that never expire for websites, WiFi, contact cards, WhatsApp, email, SMS, phone calls and Google review links. Pick colours, add a logo and download PNG or SVG. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser. How to use it: 1) choose what the QR code should do, such as open a website or join WiFi; 2) fill in the details and pick colours, size and error correction; 3) download the PNG or SVG and test it with your phone camera before printing. The tool turns your content into the standard text format that phone cameras understand, then draws the QR code in your browser with an open source encoder. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account and the code works offline.

How the QR code generator works

The tool turns your content into the standard text format that phone cameras understand, then draws the QR code in your browser with an open source encoder. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account and the code works offline.

Static codes never expire

Many “free” generators create dynamic codes that redirect through their servers and stop working when a trial ends. This tool makes static codes: the content sits inside the pattern, so it keeps working for as long as the printed code exists.

Error correction and logos

Error correction adds spare data so a code can still scan when part of it is dirty or covered. Medium suits most uses. When you add a logo, the level switches to High so the covered centre can be rebuilt.

Limitations

Static codes cannot be edited or tracked after printing. If a link might change, point the code at a page you control. Long text makes dense codes that need to be printed larger. Low contrast or light codes on dark backgrounds may fail on some phones, so the tool warns you, and you should always test before a big print run.

FAQ

QR Code Generator FAQs

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The codes are static, which means the website link, WiFi details or contact card are stored inside the pattern itself. Nothing redirects through our servers, so the code keeps working forever and needs no subscription. If you want to change where it points later, use a link to a page you can edit.

How do I make a QR code for WiFi?

Choose WiFi network, type the network name exactly as it appears, enter the password and pick the security type, usually WPA. Download the code and print it. Guests scan it with their phone camera and join without typing the password. Hidden networks are supported with the tick box.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

Use PNG for websites, social posts, WhatsApp and documents. Pick 1024 px or larger for printing. Use SVG for professional printing, signs, menus and packaging, because it is a vector file that stays sharp at any size. Designers can also recolour SVG files easily in their software.

Can I put my logo in the middle of a QR code?

Yes. Add a logo image and the generator places it in the centre on a clean background and raises error correction to High, so the hidden modules can be recovered. Keep the logo simple and test the final code with a few different phones before you print it.
