It then scales the product to fit inside your padding, centres it, and sits it on the floor line when you choose a floor shadow or reflection.
Backgrounds and effects
- Pure white, light grey, soft gradient, studio sweep with floor, or any solid colour.
- Soft drop shadow or a contact shadow under the product.
- Optional reflection that fades out below the item.

The tool reports how much of the frame the product fills. Amazon asks for about 85 percent on a pure white background for main images, so lower the padding if the note says the product is too small.
Limitations
It composes your photo; it does not cut the product out. If your photo has a coloured or busy background, run it through our Background Remover first and upload the transparent PNG. Lighting, focus and colour accuracy depend on the original photo, so shoot in soft, even light.

What are the Amazon main image requirements?
Amazon main images need a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255), should show only the product, and the product should fill about 85 percent of the frame. Images of at least 1000 pixels on the longest side enable zoom. This tool exports 2000 x 2000 on pure white and shows the fill percentage.
Do I need a transparent PNG?
It gives the best result. With a transparent cut-out, the product sits naturally on any background with a realistic shadow. A photo shot on plain white also works well on white backgrounds. For coloured or busy backgrounds, remove the background first with our Background Remover.
Which file type should I download?
JPG is smallest and is what most marketplaces expect for product photos. PNG is lossless and keeps sharp edges but makes bigger files. WebP is small and sharp and works well on modern websites. Use JPG for Amazon and Shopify unless the platform asks for something else.
Are my product photos private?
Yes. The photo is loaded and composed inside your browser, and nothing is uploaded to a server. The final file is created on your device when you click download. This makes the tool safe for products that have not launched yet.
