About

About Chase Center

Chase Center opened on September 6, 2019 in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood, giving the Golden State Warriors a new home in the city. The Warriors bought the 12-acre site in 2014, and the arena was privately financed. It seats 18,064 for basketball and about 19,500 for concerts, and it is the second-youngest arena in the NBA after Intuit Dome. Since 2025 it has also been home to the Golden State Valkyries of the WNBA, whose games earned the building the nickname Ballhalla, and the University of San Francisco Dons play basketball here as well. Chase Center hosted the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. Major concert tours fill dates between games. The address is 1 Warriors Way, and the UCSF/Chase Center stop on the Muni T Third Street line sits right next to the arena. The Central Subway, opened in 2023, links that line to downtown, and both Golden Gate Ferry and San Francisco Bay Ferry serve the area on event days.
