Calculations
Total = subtotal - discount + tax + extra charges. Tax can be one rate on the subtotal or a different rate on each line. The quote validity menu fills in the valid until date from the quote date, or you can choose a custom date.
Turning a quote into an invoice
Save the quote as a draft. When the client accepts, open the invoice generator, which already knows your business details, and enter the same items.
Limitations
A quote made here is a document, not a contract review. Check local rules for tax and consumer pricing. The built-in PDF fonts show Latin characters only, so use Print and Save as PDF for other scripts. Drafts are stored in this browser only.

What is the difference between a quotation and an estimate?
A quotation is usually a fixed price for a clearly defined job, valid until a set date. An estimate is an informed guess that can change once work starts. You can use this tool for either one. Just change the document title to Estimate or Price Quote.
How long should a quotation be valid?
Most businesses keep quotes valid for 14 to 30 days. Shorter periods suit prices that change often, such as materials, freight or currency based costs. Longer periods suit fixed service fees. Choose a period from the menu or pick a custom valid until date.
Can my client sign the quotation?
Yes. Tick the acceptance option and the PDF gets signature and date lines at the bottom. Your client can print and sign it, or sign the PDF with a free app on their phone, then send it back as written approval before you start work.
Is my pricing information private?
Yes. The quote is built entirely in your browser. Your prices, client details and drafts stay on your device and are never sent to our server. If you clear your browser data, saved drafts are removed, so download the PDF for your records.
