Amazon Listing Optimizer: Paste your Amazon title, bullet points, description, backend search terms and target keywords. Get a score with pass, improve and fix checks, see which keywords are missing and where, and copy a fix list. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser. How to use it: 1) paste your product title, bullet points, description and backend search terms, plus your brand name; 2) add your target keywords, main keyword first, one per line; 3) click Check my listing, then work through the priority fixes and add the missing words it suggests. The optimizer checks your listing text against Amazon’s published listing rules and well known best practice. It runs fully in your browser, so it works offline in the Hayyat Networks app and your listing never leaves your device.
How the Amazon listing optimizer works
The optimizer checks your listing text against Amazon’s published listing rules and well known best practice. It runs fully in your browser, so it works offline in the Hayyat Networks app and your listing never leaves your device.
What it checks
- Title: length against the limit you set (200 characters by default), no word used more than twice, no restricted characters such as ! $ ? _ { } ^ unless they are part of your brand, no promotional phrases such as free shipping or best seller, no ALL CAPS words, brand first.
- Bullets: five bullets, each under about 250 characters, no pricing, shipping or guarantee claims, no duplicates.
- Description: up to 2,000 characters, plain text, no links or contact details.
- Backend search terms: UTF-8 bytes against the limit (under 250 bytes in the US), shown as a raw count and as Amazon counts it without spaces and punctuation. It also flags repeated words, words already in the title, brand names, ASINs and subjective claims.
- Keywords: whether every word of each target keyword appears in the title, bullets or backend terms, and whether your main keyword sits in the first 80 characters of the title.
How the score works
Each check is a pass, improve or fix. Passes earn full points, improvements half and fixes none, and title, bullet count, backend size and keyword coverage count double. Singular and plural forms count as the same word.
Limitations
The score measures rule compliance and keyword coverage only. It does not predict rank or sales, and we never show search volumes because we do not estimate numbers. Some categories have their own style guides with lower limits, so adjust the limits to match yours. Default rates and limits checked November 2026. Fees and rules change, so confirm in your seller dashboard. Not affiliated with Etsy, Amazon, eBay or Walmart.

How long can an Amazon product title be?
Most Amazon categories allow up to 200 characters including spaces, but some category style guides set a lower limit. Amazon also does not allow the same word more than twice, restricted characters such as ! $ ? or promotional phrases. Keep the most important words in the first 80 characters, because mobile search often cuts long titles.
Why is my Amazon listing not showing up for a keyword?
Often one or more words of that keyword are missing from the indexed fields: title, bullet points and backend search terms. Paste your listing and keywords into the optimizer to see which words are missing and where. Ranking also depends on sales, price, reviews and stock, which no listing checker can measure.
How many bullet points should an Amazon listing have?
Use all five bullet points that most categories show. Keep each one under about 250 characters, lead with the benefit and back it with a detail such as size, material or what is included. Leave out prices, shipping offers, guarantees and promotional claims, because Amazon’s bullet guidelines ask you not to include them.
Is this Amazon listing optimizer really free?
Yes. It is free with no sign up and no limits. All checks run in your browser using fixed rules, so it also works offline in the Hayyat Networks app and nothing you paste is uploaded. It does not connect to your Seller Central account and cannot change your listing for you.
