Fast adding
- Type “2 x Eggs” or “Rice x 3” and the quantity is read for you.
- Paste several lines at once to add a whole list from a message or note.
- If an item is already on the list and not ticked, its quantity goes up instead of adding a second line.
- Suggestions include common groceries and items you used before.
Totals
Line total = quantity × price. The estimated total adds every item that has a price. “Still to buy” covers unticked items and “In the cart” covers ticked ones, which helps you stay on budget at the checkout. Items without a price are counted separately so you know the total is incomplete.
Share, copy and clear
Copy or share the list as plain text with tick boxes, quantities and prices, ready for WhatsApp, SMS or email. “Clear checked” removes bought items, with an undo, and “Uncheck all” resets a list you use every week.
Limitations
- Prices are your own estimates; there are no live shop prices.
- Shared text is a copy, so changes made by others are not merged back.
- Lists are saved on this device and sync to your account only when you sign in.
Shopping List FAQs
Does the shopping list work offline in the shop?
Yes. The list runs entirely in your browser and in the Hayyat Networks Android app, so you can tick items off even with no signal inside the shop. Changes are saved on your device straight away. If you are signed in, they sync to your account the next time you are online.
How do I share my grocery list with family?
Tap Share to send the list through WhatsApp, SMS, email or any app on your phone, or tap Copy list and paste it into a message. The text shows each item with a tick box, the quantity and the price if you added one, plus the total. Each person can then paste it into their own list.
How is the total calculated?
Each item’s line total is its quantity multiplied by its price per item. The estimated total adds up every item that has a price. It also shows how much is still to buy and how much is already in your cart. Items without a price are not guessed, and the tool tells you how many are missing a price.
Can I keep separate lists for different shops?
Yes. Tap “+ New list” to create as many as 30 lists, for example one for groceries, one for the pharmacy and one for a party. Each list keeps its own items and ticks. You can rename or delete a list at any time, and deleting can be undone straight away.
